With over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Yingchun Chi brings classical Chinese medicine together with modern integrative practice — helping thousands of patients restore balance, ease pain, and reclaim well-being.
Dr. Yingchun Chi graduated from the prestigious Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in 1986, where she trained in both Chinese and Western medicine. As one of its outstanding students, she went on to join the faculty — teaching and practicing acupuncture and Tui Na for ten years and serving as director of the Acupuncture and Tui Na Division.
In 1995 she was invited to join the core faculty of the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Albuquerque. In 1998 she established Chi's Acupuncture in Madison, Wisconsin, where she has since combined acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na, Chi Gong, and Chinese food therapy into a comprehensive approach to care.
Over four decades of practice, Dr. Chi has helped patients with a wide range of physical and psychological conditions. Every treatment plan is individualized — combining acupuncture, herbs, Tui Na, and lifestyle guidance to restore the body's natural balance.
I had heard for a long time that Dr. Chi is the best acupuncturist in Madison. After the very first treatment, milder symptoms on my left side were completely relieved right away. After several sessions, I experienced improvement I had not been able to achieve anywhere else.
In 1999, Dr. Chi's work with MS and other patients was profiled in The Capital Times and on Channel 3 TV — a recognition of the integrative approach she has brought to each patient for decades.
